Coming from CA, FL, IA, and IN, all members of the Board of Directors are well-respected and successful individuals in their chosen fields. All are mission-minded and have a passion for drilling water wells in Mozambique. We are very thankful for their faithfulness to Water4Life Mozambique.

President & CEO: Arnie and Joann Eastburn
Arnie Eastburn is the energetic and enthusiastic President/CEO of the nonprofit 501c3, Water4Life Mozambique, established in 2014, with the mission to drill water wells. He has overseen everything from the purchase of drilling equipment to the day-to-day business of running a nonprofit. By December of 2018, 100 water wellshave been drilled in northern Mozambique, Africa.
Avid photographer, videographer, and speaker, Mr. Eastburn does photoshoots on location in Mozambique, often using his DJI drone to capture footage that he uses to do fundraising in churches, person to person, and online. To say that he is passionate about the people of Mozambique--and providing clean, safe water to the African country's impoverished people--would be an understatement. Just a question to him about Mozambique will elicit his broad smile and then, as he talks about the needs of the people, his smile soon turns into his signature tears of compassion running down his cheeks.
Before his current vocation, Arnie worked as Director of Development for World Hope International. Prior, he was Director of Development for Global Partners, the mission arm of The Wesleyan Church denomination.
Early in his career, Arnie was a successful entrepreneur, starting and building businesses in human resource/business services industries for 30 years. In 2002, a mission trip to Mozambique, Africa dramatically changed his life’s trajectory. God began to create in him a passion for missions. Since that time, Arnie has led 28 construction and teaching teams to the country of Mozambique. In addition, Arnie’s international experience includes leading mission teams to 13 countries.
Arnie and Joann have been married for 47 years, She does website work, writes and edits in their office in Punta Gorda, Florida. Their two children and five grandsons are their pride and joy.
W. Craig Esterly
Mr. Esterly is a partner in SD Asset Group, LLC, a Pittsburgh, PA based private equity firm that has founded and owned a variety of domestic and international businesses, primarily in engineering and construction.Previously, he has served in numerous executive management positions, including CEO of publicly traded firm.
Craig and his wife Jan have been married 35 years and now reside in Punta Gorda, Florida.The couple has individually and jointly participated in water-related, medical, and developmental mission trips to Bhutan, Botswana, Cuba, Haiti, Honduras, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
Over the years, Craig has been active in numerous charitable activities and currently serves on the boards of UPMC Shadyside-Presbyterian Hospitals, Shadyside Hospital Foundation, LEAD Pittsburgh (mental health), the (national) Hepatitis B Foundation, as well as his local Rotary Club Foundation. He attends and actively serves at Deep Creek Community Church in Punta Gorda, FL.
Bob & Carol Lehman
Bob and Carol have worked together since the early days of their marriage. Their company, Captain Clean, was started in March of 1969, with one vacuum truck. Through these years, their fleet has grown to over 60 licensed vehicles using larger vacuum trucks with attached units for wet and dry pick up and water blasters of up to 40,000 psi for industrial facilities in eastern Iowa. From 1990 to 2005, they purchased processing equipment and set it up in a new facility to produce ethanol. After construction and obtaining all federal and state environmental permits, they processed high quality ethanol until receiving an offer to sell this business. Two sons continue managing and working the industrial cleaning services business, with their grandson adding to our office and work force. They have plans in place for near future growth.
Today, Captain Clean is the dependable, capable service started 47 years ago. These previous work experiences developed, along with joyful years of various leadership positions in Christian ministries with their local congregation and other groups. They have traveled to visit the Antarctic and inside the Arctic Circle and several countries between as well as leading work teams to Mexico, Macon (Georgia), Ukraine, Haiti, Guyana (South America), Mozambique and Panama. Many blessings and friendships follow them these days with hopes for newer ventures for Christ.
RJ & Karla McConnell
RJ and Karla, born and raised in the Hoosier state, have worked in missions for the past 14 years. They have travelled with teams to Honduras, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico, and Haiti. They are passionate about sharing God's love through missions and are excited to be a part of Water4Life Mozambique.
RJ and Karla have been married for 36 years. RJ is a business and estate planning attorney with Bose McKinney & Evans, based in Indianapolis. Karla, a retired 4th grade teacher, is an adjunct faculty member in the education department at Franklin College. They have three married children: Abby (Matt), Clay (Anya), and Mary (Alex) and five grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, Miles, Eliza, and Caroline.
Dwight & Gloria Ott
Dwight and Gloria Ott reside in Marion, Indiana and raised their four children there. Gloria is a retired registered nurse who spent most of her career in pediatrics. Dwight Ott is CFO for a skilled nursing home and assisted living business that he and his brother started in 1988, and have grown to over 20 communities throughout Indiana and Florida. In 2010, Dwight and Gloria went with their teenage children to Mozambique, to put faith into action and teach them about missions. A few years later, with connections made on this trip with resident missionary Orai Lehman, he cast the vision to them of providing clean water (the basic necessity for life) to villages in Northern Mozambique and, as Dwight has said, “We were all in!” They have been married 33 years and those teenagers are now a U.S. Marine, a third grade school teacher, and twin boys in college…all with a passion for missions.

JW Floor Covering, Inc. was started in 1981 by John Wallace from the back of a truck and was joined by ReSource Floors, Inc. in 1989. JW's reputation is synonymous with experience and excellence. With nearly 300 employees, JW is the largest full-service flooring company in San Diego County and operates from its own 22,000 sq ft headquarters in San Diego, CA. JW also has additional facilities in Temecula, Elk Grove, Orange County, Los Angeles and Las Vegas; and is licensed in California, Nevada and Utah.
