Look what she did with her life!

Many years ago there was an advertisement on TV encouraging people to be an organ donor. The slogan really appealed to me. It said:
Look what she did with her life.”

At the time, I didn’t feel like my life was making much of a difference. I thought, “Wow. Even if I don’t do much with my life, I can give life to someone after I am gone. In that way, I could do something with my life.”

How about you? Did you ever say to yourself that you would like to make a difference? That you would like your life to count for something that will live beyond this life?

I’m sure you have and many of you are doing something about it. You are choosing professions that help change lives for the better. You are volunteering at a food pantry. You are giving your community some of your time and talent. And, the world is a better place because of you.

Would you give some thought to making a dramatic difference by giving to Water4Life Mozambique so that people can have clean, safe water in their rural village?

When they have a source of nearby clean, safe water, everything about their life changes for the better.

Perhaps the biggest difference happens for the girls.

Instead of walking miles every day to go fetch dirty water, the following domino effect happens:

Girls are safe from human and animal predators.
Girls have the time to go to school and get an education.
Girls earn a high school education and receive a diploma.
Girls can find a job. Income means girls don’t marry at 13 and have babies to care for.
The cycle of poverty is broken for girls and the families they will eventually have!

YOU can make a difference!
